My Choice

The Tradition of Progression
Community has always been an essential part of society, providing humanity with a common ground where people are able to communicate effectively. Not only does community allow us to communicate, but it also provides humanity with the social skills we use while interacting on a daily basis. By definition, community is simply a group of people with something in common, whether it is a goal, hobby, favorite color, or a love for peanut butter. Like any group of people, a community is capable of affecting society both positively and negatively. The overall affect a community has on society seems to depend heavily on its specific purpose. The true purpose of community is to provide the means to accomplish goals, bring life to ideas, pursue ideals and embark upon religious conquests.
Goals and ideas are devised by the individual and accomplished through the process that is community interaction. As human beings we are reliant upon the support of people that provide us with something necessary or essential. This in itself creates a community that is shared worldwide, although most people are unaware that they belong to it. Another thing Humanity shares is the goal oriented infrastructure of human consciousness. As a people, we use goals as road markers, road markers that give direction, stability, and substance to the seventy-five plus years that we are alive. Knowing this, it is no wonder that we build our communities to support our goals and ideas.
